The University of Alabama announced Friday that junior safety HaHa Clinton-Dix has been reinstated by the NCAA and is eligible to play tonight against visiting Arkansas.

Clinton-Dix was suspended for recent victories over Georgia State and Kentucky yet ranks second on the team with 24 tackles.

The 6-foot-1, 208-pounder from Orlando had his suspension announced by coach Nick Saban following practice on Oct. 2. The Tuscaloosa News reported the next day that Clinton-Dix had received a loan from Tide assistant strength and conditioning coach Corey Harris. The loan reportedly was less than $500 and was repaid by Clinton-Dix, but it violated NCAA rules regarding extra benefits.
