Two arrested in Scottsboro, Ala., on drug-related charges

The Jackson County (Ala.) Sheriff's Office on Sunday recovered an active "one-pot" methamphetamine lab at a mobile home in Scottsboro, Ala., and arrested two people in connection with the seizure.

A news release said Lowell Thomas Green Jr., 38, and Sharon Lynn Green, 52, were arrested and charged with manufacturing a controlled substance first degree (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia. The two remain in the Jackson County Jail.

Sharon Green is being held pending a motion being filed to revoke a previous bond for a manufacturing charge while Lowell Green is being held pending a motion to revoke his probation, also stemming from a prior manufacturing charge.
