Vision opens 3 new hotels

A Chattanooga hotel development company recently opened three new hotels in Atlanta, Knoxville and Schererville, Ind.

Vision Hospitality Group Inc. built a 112- suite Residence Inn, a 90-room Fairfield Inn & Suites and an 89-room Hampton Inn & Suites in the three cities across the Southeast and Midwest. The company now has 27 hotels in its portfolio with an additional 15 in development, and is constructing its new headquarters in downtown Chattanooga.


CapitalMark grows toward goal

CapitalMark Bank and Trust earned $1.2 million, or 16 cents per share, in the third quarter. The Chattanooga bank said top-line revenue grew 15.2 percent over a year ago and loans expanded by 27.2 percent from the same period in 2012.

CapitalMark CEO Craig Holley said the bank's assets grew this summer to $798 million and bank offi- cials "remain focused on our strategy of becoming

a $1 billion bank by adding experienced Banker Teams who focus on understand- ing and meeting the needs of our clients."
