A Chattanooga house was damaged by fire today for the second time in two weeks.

Chattanooga firefighters responded to the fire around 4 p.m. at 111 Baker Street in North Chattanooga.

Heavy smoke was coming from the attic when firefighters arrived, according to a news release.

Captain Tally Glover said he saw a man on the front porch walk inside as firefighters arrive. Then he left the scene.

Firefighters got the fire out fairly quickly and had to contend with a bees' nest while extinguishing the fire in the attic, according to the release.

The last fire at the house was on October 17. Like the first fire, the cause of this fire is under investigation.
