NASHVILLE, Tenn. — One person is dead in a runway accident involving a non-commercial flight at Nashville International Airport.
Airport spokeswoman Emily Richardson said the runway is closed while emergency workers respond. The other runways remain open, and the accident is not affecting airport operations.
She had no details on what happened.
Tennessee Emergency Management Agency spokesman Jeremy Heidt confirmed that one person was dead but did not know whether there were any other injuries.
