Hamilton County Commissioners voiced approval today for a payment in lieu of tax agreement with Woodbridge Chattanooga Formed Plastics, an automotive supplier. The company plans to make a two-stage expansion that is expected to bring 200 jobs to the area.
The company plans to add $8.5 million worth of machinery during phase one of the expansion and another $8 million in a second phase.
The commission will vote next week whether allow the Chattanooga Industrial Development Board to negotiate the agreement.
