North Chattanooga house has another fire

Wednesday, October 30, 2013

Chattanooga firefighters were back at a North Chattanooga residence this afternoon to put out a fire less than 24 hours after having previously responded to a fire at the same location.

This is the third fire to occur at the house at 111 Baker St., according to a news release.

Commander Don Eaves of Engine 12 said a small fire was found and extinguished on the living room floor this afternoon.

Lt. Henry McElvain of the Fire Investigation Division said it was obvious that the fire was intentionally set, but there have been no arrests yet.

Anyone who might have information to help the investigators should call the Chattanooga Police Department at (423) 698-2525, the release said.
