Notre Dame's state semi-final soccer match against Knoxville Catholic postponed until Friday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Notre Dame's Class A/AA state-semifinal match against Knoxville Catholic has been postponed until Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the Richard Siegel Soccer Complex, due to inclement weather conditions.

Fifth-ranked Notre Dame (13-6-4) advanced to the semifinals with a 5-0 win over Liberty, while top-ranked Catholic (19-3-4) pasted Fairview by a score of 8-0. The other semifinal is sixth-ranked Christ Presbyterian Academy against third-ranked Christian Academy of Knoxville. Championships are still slated to be played Saturday afternoon.
