Late run sends Chattanooga Lookouts to loss

Brett Jackson's two-out double to center in the top of the ninth inning Sunday night scored John Andreoli to propel the Tennessee Smokies to a 4-3 win over Chattanooga at AT&T Field.

It was the seventh consecutive loss for the Lookouts, who will take a 23-45 Southern League second-half record and a 58-80 overall mark into today's 2:15 series finale.

Chattanooga scored in each of the first three innings on an RBI single by Angelo Songco, an RBI single by Rafael Ynoa and an RBI double by Songco. The Smokies pulled even in the fifth on a three-run home run to center by Javier Baez.

Sunday's game drew a crowd of 3,415.
