A Gruetli-Laager, Tenn., woman died Thursday evening when the car she was riding in swerved into oncoming traffic and hit another vehicle head-on, according to Tennessee Highway Patrol documents.
THP documents state that Nadine McDaniel, 64, was one passenger in a 1994 Chevrolet traveling north on state Highway 108 Thursday, which swerved into southbound lanes and struck a 2002 Jeep.
Brenda Pickett was reportedly driving the Chevrolet and suffered injuries. THP documents indicate neither alcohol nor drugs were factors in the acident.
Pickett reportedly struck head-on the Jeep driven by Tracy Whitfield, who was injured.
Lily Brown was also a passenger in Pickett's vehicle and reportedly suffered injuries.
