Chattanooga man sentenced to 15 years for child enticement

A Chattanooga man was sentenced to 15 years in prison today on child enticement charges by United States District Judge Robert L. Vining in Rome, Ga.

Last June, Jason Antti, 41, allegedly responded to a Craigslist ad which solicited readers for sex with two young teen girls. The ad was created by an FBI agent, and the girls were fictitious.

Earlier today, Antti was sentenced for allegedly responding to the ad and agreeing to meet the girls at an EconoLodge in Chickamauga last year, with the knowledge the girls were 11 and 14. He was intercepted by law enforcement officers on June 8, 2012, and arrested.

Antti faces 15 years in prison and 15 years of supervised watch upon his release. He will be added to a sexual offender database.

The Rossville Police Department, Walker County Sheriff's Office, Murray County Sheriff's Office and FBI authorities all worked the case.

Antti was one of several people arrested by the FBI's Northwest Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force last June.
