Two teens shot at birthday party in Chattanooga

Two teens were reportedly shot during a birthday party in Chattanooga last night, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

Police responded to 4221 Quin Adams Drive at midnight.

A 16 year-old girl was shot in the neck and upper back and 18-year-old David Shropshire was shot in the hand.

Both were taken to a hospital and were treated for nonlife-threatening injuries.

Police said the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.
