Up to a dozen students have been taken to the hospital after a school bus collided with a truck this morning.
The incident happened around 8:37 a.m. at the 6500 block of Bonny Oaks Drive.
Police said the students hurt in the crash all had minor injuries.
The driver of the school bus told police he was monitoring a disturbance on the bus when he struck the rear of a Ryder truck that was stopped at a red light.
Tyner Middle School Principal Mark Smith told our news partners WRCB there were about 50 kids on board between the grades of 6-12.
