Your best 'Win' story could win you $50 — Sept. 16

Remember that 1970s-era "Wide World of Sports" intro, "The thrill of victory, the agony of defeat"?

Another Story Live will have a similar, though not necessarily sports-related, theme Monday, Sept. 16.

This open-mic storytelling competition is looking for true stories, five minutes in length, that relate in one way or another to the theme "Win: Stories of Triumph and Defeat."

The winner is chosen by audience vote and walks away with $50.

The session starts at 7:30 p.m. at The Camp House, 1427 Williams St. Admission is $2.
