The gunfire happened shortly after 3 a.m. in a parking lot between Peachtree and Crescent streets, after the nightclubs in the area had closed.

Atlanta Police Capt. Paul Guerrucci tells tell WSB-TV that officers assisting with crowd control as the nightclubs closed. He said they were flagged down by people who said there were shots fired during a fight in the parking lot.
