The Kevin Prater Band will offer a concert of traditional bluegrass music at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at Mike's Music & Concert Hall, 1546 Burnt Mill Road, in Flintstone, Ga.

The KPB bases its sound on strong vocal harmonies built around high trios. The musicians are steeped in the gospel tradition and pride themselves on their a cappella hymns. Classic country and vintage rock 'n' roll also creep into their repertoire.

Opening for the Kentucky-based band is Chattanooga's Fox Mountain Express.

General-admission tickets -- $15 for one, $25 for two -- will be available at the door.
