NASHVILLE - After winning its previous two games by a combined 97-10, Ensworth was challenged to the very last whistle by McCallie in a 28-14 Division II-AA football victory Friday night.
Though they held a 21-14 lead, the Tigers (5-0) were on the brink of trouble after missing a 40-yard field-goal try with 5:05 remaining in the game.
With McCallie (3-3) carrying momentum from a touchdown drive on its previous possession, the Blue Tornado took possession and was set to embark on what could have been a game-tying drive.
