ACLU stands up for student told he cannot read Bible at school

The ACLU is standing up for a Tennessee boy who was told he cannot read the Bible at school.

According to the ACLU, an after-school program in Cannon County told an elementary school student he would have to put the Bible away. The boy refused, and the school took it from him.

The ACLU says the boy has a constitutional right to read religious texts at school during free-reading time.
