Man killed in train crash identified

The man killed by a train in Dade County, Ga., Wednesday afternoon has been identified as Alvin G. Yount of Chattanooga.

Yount, 80, was killed when a Norfolk Southern train struck his vehicle, which had apparently become stuck on the tracks at the intersection of Carroll Road and U.S. Highway 11.
