The Market Street Bridge is opened during the Tennessee Department of Transportation's quarterly testing on Sunday.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation said the Market Street Bridge in downtown Chattanooga will be closed to through traffic on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. as it conducts its quarterly testing of the bridge.

Bad weather or unforeseen circumstances could lead to a rescheduling of the testing to a later date, TDOT said.
