The Boehner Effect

about Clay Bennett...

The son of a career army officer, Bennett led a nomadic life, attending ten different schools before graduating in 1980 from the University of North Alabama with degrees in Art and History. After brief stints as a staff artist at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Fayetteville (NC) Times, he went on to serve as the editorial cartoonist for the St. Petersburg Times (1981-1994) and The Christian Science Monitor (1997-2007), before joining the staff of the ...

Boehner is a disgrace to this nation and an embarrassment to the people of Ohio. He is a ball-less stooge that personifies today's Republican Party. Send him packing along with the turtle boy...

Boehner is just another neutered Repiblican. However, you will never an executive order for anything to do with job creation by this president.

Go to Thomas Library of congress and check out how many house passed bills were read twice and assigned to a senate committee to die.

Energy is the economic stimulus needed but no urgency by this congress or administration.

Still trying to prop up the turd in the WH,huh? Still trying to associate him with hope. Once again, putting someone else down doesn't make BO look any better. You libs blast the House all the time, but the Senate is as disgrace. It's where politicians go to become wealthy, or wealthier.

To still post pictures of Obama and "Hope" is ridiculous. Maybe "False Hope". Not that Boehner is any better. I would say most if not all of the politicians in Washington are out of touch with the people they are there to represent. However, when a person or party is somewhat reasonable, you can expect some compromise between two opposing groups. But when you get some lunatic in the White House, then it just creates more friction.

  1. relentlessly unoriginal

  2. blindly partisan

  3. hopelessly devoted to the Cold War-reigniting White House intern.

Such are Pulitzer's criteria for prize-winning editorial cartoonists.

Oh my...the comments today are simply too nasty for me.

Of course EVERYTHING is Obama's fault.

This virtual unknown a decade ago has amassed so much power and influence, that he can make politicians forget themselves and how to do their jobs.

Interestingly, the Senate has sent a bill to the House to resume Federal payments of unemployment compensation for the long-term unemployed.

Anyone want to bet how that will turn out?

Will the Republicans pass it or will Boehener refuse to allow any debate or a vote?

America is watching in this election year. What happens will be watched very carefully.

Could it not be that Bennett is surreptitiously indicating the two are essentially two sides of the same coin?

Consider:

Obama is not a democrat; he's a moderate Republican that has neglected and screwed the people that voted for him. The Democratic Party of my younger days exists no more. What we have today is the extreme Right, personified by the Republicans, and the moderate Right, embodied in what was formerly Democrats. They are now both sides of the same coin, and both work hard to enrich their corporate controllers at the expense of the American middle class.

You didn’t waste any time today huh? Bang, out of the gate – attack!

Y’know PlaintTruth, having something to say, even if you have no idea what it is while pretending to be an ass hole just to mess with Alprova is the same thing as being an ass hole.

It does however allow you (someone that doesn’t know a god damn thing about…well…anything) to talk sh!t without getting the beat down you’d certainly receive.

With the exception of skin color (and that’s speculative), you and Al Sharpton have a lot in common.

BTW, Rat. Glad to see you coming up for air.

Here's another one for you to chew on. The married staffer reportedly shown in a video kissing U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister, R-Swartz, has been "taken off the payroll," according to The News-Star. The move comes after a video surfaced Monday, reportedly showing McAllister, who is married, and his district scheduler Melissa Anne Hixon Peacock, 33, locked in an embrace and kissing. If the kissee had been a boy, the Congressman would now be a hero to the left.

As it is, the Congressman is a hero to the right, because the kissee was a female.

It doesn't matter that both were married to others and the man ran on strong family values. At least the man is straight.

Every Republican exhaled a sigh of relief...

It's been a few years, but I don't recall the "left" buddying-up to the Senator that was tapping guys' feet under the stalls at the airport.

Boehner is going to pass amnesty and retire to florida with his millions. We need to stop him in the primary. http://ashworthforcongress.com/
