AUGUSTA, Ga. - Jay Greeson breaks down Sunday's final-round action from the Masters at Augusta National.

Numbers

1: Where Masters champ Bubba Watson ranked in driving distance this week, averaging more than 305 yards per measured tee shot. He also finished tied for fifth in greens in regulation with 50. Jordan Spieth hit the most greens in regulation with 53 of 72 (73.6 percent).

2: Number of the three Watsons crying in their hug on the 18th green after Bubba's victory. The only dry-eyed Watson was 2-year-old Caleb.

7: Number of players who finished this Masters under par for the tournament. It's the fewest since 2007, when Zach Johnson won at 1-over 289.

17: Number of players with multiple Masters wins now that Watson has two green jackets.

$1.62 million: Paycheck for Watson for winning his second Masters.

Shot of the day

On a day when power was coveted, Bubba Watson suffocated the field with his driver. And none of his prodigious tee shots was as impressive as his 366-yard bomb on the 510-yard, par-5 13th. Watson hit a gap wedge -- yes a gap wedge from 144 -- into the par-5. Two putts later led to his final birdie of the day in his three-shot Masters victory.

Best and worst

Best recovery: After a terrible drive, Matt Kuchar used a hybrid 4-iron from 244 yards on the knee-shaking par-4 11th that perfectly got the mound that guards the front of the green. The ball bounced perfectly and rolled onto the green and hunted the hole. It stopped about 3 feet from the cup and Kuchar made birdie. That was the good news. The bad news was that was Kuchar's last birdie of the day and he finished with a 74 Sunday and tied for fifth six back.

Best nickname: Forget the Mechanic, the moniker for Miguel Angel Jimenez. How about the Magic Marker for Augusta National member Jeff Knox, who played as a noncompetitive marker with Larry Mize in the first group off Sunday morning. A day after beating Rory McIlroy by a shot on Saturday, Knox blitzed Mize, who shot 79.

Best front-nine match-play dual: Third round co-leaders Bubba Watson and Jordan Spieth halved the difficult fourth and sixth holes as each made birdie on the par 3s on the front nine Sunday. For context, of the 51 competitors in the final round, there were two birdies in the final group on No. 4 and two birdies from the rest of the field. Spieth and Watson accounted for two of the six birdies Sunday at No. 6.

Worst drama: This Masters was all but decided on Nos. 8 and 9 when Bubba Watson made birdie and playing partner Jordan Spieth made bogey on each. The four-shot swing flipped a Spieth two-shot lead into a Watson two-shot edge. Watson's birdie on No. 9 moved him to 8 under and allowed him to shoot even par on the back nine and cruise to a three-shot win.

CARD OF THE DAY

Bubba Watson's 3-under 69 was long and nearly flawless. His charge late on the front nine allowed him to cruise in. There was no cruise in Jordan Spieth's round today. Here's the roller coaster that the 20-year-old Spieth circled Sunday at Augusta National
