The Rock Spring Athletic Association will host a candlelight service at 6 p.m. Saturday at the baseball fields on Georgia Highway 95 in honor of the 6-year-old boy who died at Chattanooga Valley Elementary School on Monday morning.

The family of Zachary Bryant will collect donations during the service to raise money for Zachary's funeral, said his grandmother, Janice Bryant. The family has also set up a PayPal account, and in addition residents can donate money to the Zachary Bryant Memorial Fund at a Wells Fargo Bank.

Zachary died around 7 a.m. Monday after his Walker County Schools bus driver dropped him and other students off at Chattanooga Valley Elementary. Somehow, Bryant ended up in front of the bus, authorities say, and the unnamed driver hit the boy, killing him almost immediately.
