GATLINBURG, Tenn. - Fire officials say they have rescued three people from a blazing condominium in Gatlinburg.

A Gatlinburg Fire Department spokesperson told WBIR-TV that crews were able to safely get the people off the second floor of the Summit of Gatlinburg, and that they were treated at the scene this morning for smoke inhalation.

Dispatchers told the Knoxville News Sentinel that fire crews from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were fighting the blaze and had it under control.

Kris Ross, a desk clerk at the condos, told the newspaper that the fire was contained to one building, which had 24 condos.
