NASHVILLE - House members this afternoon approved a conference committee report implementing a one-year delay in the testing of Tennessee's Common Core education standards.

The report, the work of a special House and Senate panel seeking to iron out differences, passed 84-8. Senators are expected to take up the report on Thursday.
