Abdulhakim AdoAbdulhakim Ado, one of the top rising junior basketball players in the nation, has recently been selected to participate in the USA Elite National Under 20 team in the World Championships in Tourcoing, France.
Ado, a native of Nigeria who preps at Hamilton Heights, has made unbelievable strides since arriving in the country in February of 2013. The 6-foot-11 center averaged 9.8 points, 11.8 rebounds and 7.3 blocks per game for the Hawks during his sophomore campaign.
The championships will take place from June 18-23, and the United States will be competing against seven other countries. NBA stars Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant are among the alumni of players who have participated in the games.

"To be able to compete against some of the best in the world and to see and experience another country and culture is a priceless opportunity.
