See a wabbit? Gwab it! Hug-a-bunny day at Chattanooga Zoo

Elmer Fudd might consider them wascally, but the folks at Chattanooga Zoo feel diff-wently.

For two events Saturday, April 19, their motto might as well be: “See a wabbit? Gwab it!”

Visitors can do just that during Breakfast With the Easter Bunny from 8:30 to 10 a.m. and Hug-a-Bunny Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The day starts with Breakfast With the Easter Bunny, which includes the meal, a costumed cottontail, real bunnies and a souvenir photo.

Members (show your ID) pay $20 for adults, $15 for children. Nonmembers pay $25 and $20. All tickets include zoo admission for the day.

Hug-a-Bunny Day offers the chance to play with real bunnies and enjoy other activities such as face painting and educational egg hunt stations. Activities are free with regular admission: $8.95 for adults, $6.95 for seniors (65+), $5.95 children 3-12.

Chattanooga Zoo, 301 N. Holtzclaw Ave., is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. For more information, call 423-697-1319. A link to Breakfast With the Easter Bunny tickets is at
