Corinne Hill, executive director of the Chattanooga Public Library, has been invited to participate in the American Library Association's summit, "Libraries From Now On: Imagining the Future," at the Library of Congress in Washington,D.C.
Set for May 2-3, the summit brings together about 80 leaders from the national library community, educational organizations, federal agencies and foundations that work with libraries. Discussions center on the future direction and trends for libraries.
Hill, who was named Library Journal's 2014 Librarian of the Year, said she is honored to be included in the invitational summit.
"As one public library leading the way in innovation and collaboration, Chattanooga Public Library is not only imagining our future, we are creating it every day. This summit is an extraordinary opportunity to share the exciting transformation story of the Chattanooga Public Library and learn from other change makers around the country," Hill said.
