A third arrest has been made in the April 9 Lookout Valley triple slaying.

Hamilton County Sheriff's Office detectives arrested Skyler H. Allen and charged him in the slaying earlier this month that claimed the lives of Caleb Boozer, 29, John "Jake" Lang, 53, and Jon Morris, 24. The barrage of gunfire also wounded 16-year-old Michael Callen.

Allen was arrested around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, and charged with three counts of criminal homicide and one count of attempted criminal homicide.

Law enforcement officials have not released any information on what led to the shooting, other than to acknowledge that it was not a random act of violence.

Arrested earlier this month in connection with the violence were Derek Madison Morse, 19, shortly after the deaths, and an unnamed 15-year-old boy about a week-and-a-half later. Morse was charged with criminal homicide and attempted criminal homicide, and the 15-year-old faces the same charges.

Morse is being held at the Hamilton County Jail without bond, and is scheduled to appear in Sessions Court May 8.

The 15-year-old also was denied bail and is being held at the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center. He has a review date set for May 20.

Allen was taken into custody at the Sheriff's West Annex.

With Allen's arrest, Hamilton County Sheriff's Office officials say they are confident that the three primary suspects in the April 9 slaying have been identified and arrested, according to a news release.

However, the investigation remains open, and detectives will continue to try to identify others who provided assistance to the suspects.
