Chattanooga man shot but won't talk to police

A man who was shot in the leg Saturday evening is being uncooperative about the attack, Chattanooga police said in a news release.

Police interviewed Cordarius D. Bennett, 25, at a hospital shortly after 7 p.m., the release said.

He told them he heard four to six shots and realized he had been wounded. He wouldn't say where it happened or why someone might have been shooting at him, the release said.

Police arrested Bennett on previous unrelated warrants.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call
