Dunlap man arrested on meth, guns charges

Sequatchie County deputies arrested a Dunlap, Tenn., man early Wednesday on methamphetamine and weapons charges, Sheriff Ronnie Hitchcock said in a news release.

Marlin L. Gossett Jr., 37, is charged with felony possession of meth with intent to resell; felony possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony, Hitchcock said.

The arrest came after deputies and narcotics officers executed a search warrant at Gossett's home on Mahoney Road in the Daus community.

Gossett remains in the Sequatchie County Jail pending a court hearing Aug. 15.
