Sequatchie County deputies early Wednesday served a search warrant at a Mahoney Road home in the Daus Community and found a "'large amount of methamphetamine," officials said.

Martin L. Gossett Jr., 37, of Dunlap, was charged with felony possession of schedule II methamphetamine with intent for resale, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of s weapon during the commission of a felony, a sheriff's office press release states.

Gossett is being held without bond at the Sequatchie County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court Aug. 15.
