British autos at Historic Rugby Tennessee

RUGBY, Tenn. - British cars and bikes of all descriptions will be on display on Aug. 23 as Historic Rugby celebrates its U.K. roots with a British Motorcar and Motorbike Show free to spectators.

This is the fourth year for the show, according to a news release.

"Last year saw a large number of MGs including five T series from the early 1950s," said show organizer Charlie Bunnell with the co-sponsoring Plateau British Car Club. "They all arrived under their own steam. Jaguar, Triumph, Austin-Healy and the original Mini were all represented as well as the less common Ariel, Lotus, Sunbeam and Rover."

Early registration is ongoing, with a reduced registration fee until Saturday. Registration forms are available at www.pbcctn.org/Rugby. For other details, contact Bunnell at rugby@pbcctn.org or 931-210-3732 or 931-210-3742.

Spectator admission is free. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. EDT. Directions are at www.historicrugby.org.
