A traffic crash is blocking the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 27 south of Soddy Lake.Southbound traffic on U.S. Highway 27 is at a standstill because of a traffic crash.
Two Times Free Press employees on the highway are reporting emergency vehicles and personnel are gathered at the exit just south of Soddy Lake.
No information was immediately available from the Soddy-Daisy Police Department or Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation reported a multivehicle crash and witnesses saw a blue pickup truck and a silver midsized sedan with damage.
