A pedestrian is in serious condition after being struck in a hit-and-run in Cleveland last night, according to a news release from Bradley County EMS.
It happened at the intersection of 14th St. and Aurora Ave. at approximately 8 p.m.
A black car reportedly struck a 39-year-old man and fled, the release said.
Responders found the man lying in the roadway. He was flown to Erlanger hospital, according to the release.
A suspect vehicle was found and detained by the Cleveland Police Department.
The incident remains under investigation.
