VW adds engineering program in Chattanooga

Volkswagen announced today it will create an Engineering Specialist Training program in Chattanooga that will target candidates who have already earned their Bachelor's degree.

VW said the participants will receive a concentrated 18-month program that will highlight the same hands-on experience of the mechatronics training coupled with three months of international experience at Volkswagen's headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany.

The new program was announced during a graduation program today of the second class to graduate from the Volkswagen Academy's three-year Automation Mechatronics Program (AMP).
