Back from Las Vegas, where he was featured on an upcoming episode of the Travel Channel series "Aftershocks," paranormal investigator Richard Ruland will be one of two special guests at Dalton Ghost Tours on Saturday, Aug. 16.

Ruland is the host of "Hunting the Unknown Truth," which averages 800,000 views each week. He also has appeared on Biography Channel's "My Ghost Story" and is a co-founder of Ghost Hunters of Southern Tennessee. Among the subjects Ruland will touch on are his team's recent supernatural findings at the Thomas A. Berry House, now home to the Carter Hope Center, a rehabilitation facility in Dalton.

"We have a few chilling EVPs from the investigation at the Thomas Berry House that we're excited to share," says Ruland, a former New York police officer who now resides in Dayton, Tenn. "As a number of residents already know, there's a lot going on in that historic home."

The Thomas A. Berry House investigation is the subject of an upcoming episode of "Hunting the Unknown Truth," though the air date has not yet been announced. Previous episodes of "Hunting the Unknown Truth" can be viewed on PEN (Paranormal Encounters Network), Columbia University's campus channel; as well as on Roku's Paratrek TV, Google TV, World TV and YouTube.

Along with Ruland will be Mark Fults, the GHOST team psychic and author of "Chattanooga Chills." Both will join Dalton Ghost Tours guests on a walking exploration of downtown Dalton's alleged "cold spots" following their presentation.
