Georgia's four quarterbacks produced solid numbers during Friday's second scrimmage at Sanford Stadium, but that didn't translate into a good night for the offense.

Coach Mark Richt voiced his displeasure in the overall execution at his post-practice news conference.

"It was just frustrating, and I told them, too," Richt said after the offense threw two interceptions and lost two fumbles.

Fifth-year senior Hutson Mason completed 22 of 31 passes for 204 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Redshirt sophomore Faton Bauta completed 10 of 17 passes for 152 yards, while redshirt freshman Brice Ramsey completed 13 of 17 for 187 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

Freshman Jacob Park was 11-of-16 for 166 yards.

Junior tailbacks Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall each had four carries for 11 yards. Freshman Nick Chubb had nine carries for 30 yards and a touchdown, while fellow freshman Sony Michel had four carries for 39 cards with a long of 22.

Sophomore Brendan Douglas had 9 carries for 19 yards, according to statistics that were provided by Richt.

Leading the receivers were redshirt sophomore Kenneth Towns, who had 10 catches for 145 yards and a touchdown, and freshman tight end Jeb Blazevich, who had five receptions for 112 yards. Former cornerback Brendan Langley had four catches for 71 yards and a score.

Richt said the first-team offense started quickly, marching 11 or 12 plays and scoring on a pass from Mason to Chris Conley. Apparently that was the high-water mark as Richt again pitted the ones against the ones and the backups against the backups.

"From then on, the execution kind of deteriorated," Richt said. "That's not to say there weren't good plays offensively, but we had way too many fumbled snaps or poor shotgun snaps. Too many guys were jumping offsides.

"There were just too many guys having to be babysat out there as far as getting lined up right."

Junior outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins had nine tackles, four tackles for loss and two sacks, while senior inside linebacker Amarlo Herrera added seven tackles. Freshman safety Dominick Sanders had four tackles and returned an interception of Mason 54 yards for a touchdown.

Freshman cornerback Rico Johnson had the interception of Ramsey.

The Bulldogs are scheduled to hold a special teams scrimmage tonight after going through Fans Picture Day festivities this afternoon. They will take Sunday and Monday off and resume Tuesday afternoon.
