Good Deed: Students, parents thankful for donated school supplies

Piney Woods residents had a back-to-school event to make sure kids in that area were prepared to hit the classroom with plenty of supplies. Ronald Hardy, from Greater St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, collected items for the kids from area businesses. The employees at Henderson, Hutcherson & McCullough collected hundreds of dollars worth of school supplies. This is just another example of taking care of neighbors who may need a little something extra in life.
