Authorities say a Rossville woman stabbed her boyfriend to death with a steak knife.

It happened at 1610 B Wilson Road in Rossville at about 4:45 p.m. Saturday, according to a news release from the Walker County Sheriff's Office.

50-year-old Patricia Ann Harrison was booked into jail Saturday night on a murder charge.

The victim was identified as 63-year-old William Drymon, also of Rossville.

Upon arrival at the scene, deputies found the victim lying inside the front door. He was taken to Erlanger hospital, where he died.

Harrison was arrested without incident at the crime scene. She was heavily intoxicated and it appears alcohol was a contributing factor in the stabbing, according to the sheriff.
