Knox County vice officers bust four women on prostitution charges

KNOXVILLE — Knox County's vice unit hit the Internet in search of escorts and netted charges against four women, including one who said she was there to provide security for co-workers.

Detectives with the Knox County Sheriff's Office searched the website for escorts and decided to call a number listed for Brittany Valentine, 24, who gave a Dale Avenue address, records show.

The officers arranged on a cellphone to meet the woman about 4 p.m. at a North Knoxville motel "to engage in full service sex," records state.
