The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Bledsoe, Bradley, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Monroe, Polk, Rhea, Sequatchie and Van Buren counties in Tennessee and Cherokee County, N.C.

A flood watch has been issued for McMinn County, Tenn., and flash flood watch for Fannin, Gilmer and Union counties in Georgia.
