JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The father of a Jacksonville teen who was fatally shot in a fight over loud music has visited Ferguson, Missouri, to visit the site of another slain teen.

The Florida Times-Union reports Ron Davis placed a blue wristband with his son Jordan's name on it at the memorial to Michael Brown during a visit Friday.

Davis' 17-year-old son was killed outside a Jacksonville convenience store in 2012.

Davis says recovering from the loss of a child is a long process and he wanted to visit Missouri to let those who loved Brown know he shared their pain.
