JACKSON, Tenn. - D.J. Peterson's two-out single to center field in the seventh inning Monday night scored Tyler Mariette and Patrick Brady to propel the Jackson Generals to a 2-1 Southern League victory over Chattanooga and deny the Lookouts a share of the Southern League's North Division lead.

The Lookouts dropped to 30-32 and remained a game back of the reeling Tennessee Smokies, who have lost five straight. Scott Schebler's two-out home run to right in the first inning gave Chattanooga a 1-0 lead.

The finale of the five-game series is tonight at 8:05 EDT. Jeremy Kehrt (1-0, 2.25 ERA) is scheduled to start on the mound for the Lookouts, with Victor Sanchez (7-5, 3.76) scheduled for the Generals.
