Police seeking victims of Dalton flasher

The Dalton Police Department wants to know: Has Edwin Fulkerson exposed himself to you?

The police department charged Fulkerson twice in the last week with indecent exposure. First, they say, he exposed himself and began to masturbate in front of a woman at Civitan Park in Dalton on Aug. 5.

Then, police say, he stared at a woman from his car in a parking lot on Shugart Road on Aug. 20. The victim in that case remembered details about the car, and that information led the police to Fulkerson, 18.

After arresting him in connection with the Aug. 20 incident, officers linked him to the Aug. 5 case. Police say he already was on probation for indecent exposure.

Now, the police department is asking citizens to come forward if they have been victims of Fulkerson's exposures. If so, you can call Detective Greg Bates at 706-278-9085, extension 9137.
