‘Literary Art’ opens today at Reflections Gallery - August28

An opening reception for “Literary Art,” an exhibition celebrating books and their readers, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today,

Aug. 28, at Reflections Gallery, 6922 Lee Highway. The fine art show features altered books, sculptures, paintings, photography and other works created by local artists and crafters to illustrate the world of the bibliophile. The exhibition will continue through Thursday, Oct. 23. An altered book workshop ($45) will be held at an open house during the Chattanooga Gallery Hop, 2-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6.
