Scenic City Serves plans first car show - Aug. 30

The nonprofit service organization Scenic City Serves will present its inaugural Scenic City Car Show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Clear Creek Church of Christ in Hixson.

Registration fee is $20. Top 10 awards will be presented for both domestic and import classes.

In addition to the array of vehicles, the day will include DJ music by Party Time Entertainment, food concessions, bake sale, silent auction, kids activities and door prizes.

Admission is free, but donations are welcome. Proceeds go the Chattanooga Community Kitchen.

Clear Creek Church of Christ is at 5312 Hixson Pike (behind Wendy’s).
