Brendan Langley leaving Georgia after two seasons

Georgia sophomore cornerback Brendan Langley has decided to transfer, Bulldogs coach Mark Ricth announced Monday night.

"Brendan came to me and expressed an interest in moving to another institution that may provide more playing opportunity," Richt said in a statement. " I told him I understood and wish him nothing but the best."

Langley played in nine games as a freshman in 2013, recording 12 tackles and two pass deflections. The 6-foot-1, 181-pounder from Marietta started the first four games last season before his playing time decreased.

After switching to receiver earlier this year, Langley moved back to the secondary and started in the win at Missouri. He played in just three games, however, and made four tackles.
