Dead body found near King's Lodge in Chattanooga identified by police

Chattanooga police have identified the body of a white man found near King's Lodge on Westside Drive Nov. 12.

The body was identified as 40-year-old Timothy Bryson, according to a news release from the police department. There is no sign of foul play, the release stated.

A utility worker found the decomposing body at 2500 Westside Drive. Investigators say he may have been homeless.

The cause of death is pending the results of the Hamilton County Medical Examiner's Office, police said.
