A young man was fatally shot Saturday afternoon, during an argument on Fagan Street, Chattanooga police said.
Police found Charles Jones, 23, with gunshot wounds to the wrist and lower abdomen.
Police said a group of men were gathered at 4100 Fagan Street and an altercation broke out.
The man who was shot died on the way to the hospital. The other men left on foot, police said.
No identities were released and no other information was immediately available.
